SERVICES
The studio handles both private projects and collaborations with other professionals, mostly in the residential and commercial sectors, and occasionally in office spaces. The focus is always on high-value projects, with clients who appreciate research and attention to detail. Each project is developed by carefully considering the client’s needs, analyzing the context, the building, and the environment, balancing respect for history with contemporary design. Every project is treated as unique, with care from conceptual design to full execution and final styling.
-
Projects include architectural, interior, and occasionally exterior spaces, potentially developed from conceptual design through full execution. The process encompasses site analysis, concept development, coordination of architectural design in all its phases, integration of MEP and lighting design, on-site supervision, furniture arrangement, and final styling. Each space is conceived to balance minimalist linearity, respect for historical elements, appropriate material selection, and carefully considered color palettes, ensuring functionality, aesthetic coherence, and attention to detail.
-
In renovation projects in particular, construction management and site supervision are provided to ensure that execution adheres to the design and quality standards. The service includes effective coordination with other professionals, support in managing construction documentation, feasibility assessment, and project budget oversight, ensuring a smooth and coherent process.
-
Direct contact with selected contractors, suppliers, and artisans is carefully managed to ensure quality, timely delivery, and alignment with the project concept. Each professional involved is coordinated with precision, guaranteeing oversight and attention to detail throughout every stage of execution.
-
Custom furniture design, when included in the project, forms an integral part of a carefully considered and harmonious renovation. Furnishings are developed with attention to detail through precise drawings, as are the materials selected for structures and finishes. Selections are made to maintain consistency with the identity of the space and to enhance existing elements, integrating sustainable solutions whenever possible.
-
Even in new or non-renovated spaces, the furnishing and styling service allows the project to be completed with artistic direction and attention to detail. This includes the planning and arrangement of furniture, lighting, decor, and accessories, with support in selecting custom or off-the-shelf products. The service can also include on-site presence during delivery and installation, managing any last-minute issues and ensuring the integrity of the selected items.
-
For targeted interventions or limited budgets, hourly consultations are available online or in person. These include guidance on layout, space division, color palettes, materials, lighting, and small design details, allowing clients to develop concrete ideas and evaluate potential interventions before undertaking a full project.
-
The architectural and economic potential of properties for sale is assessed, and their redevelopment is guided to transform them into valuable, thoughtfully designed spaces integrated into the real estate market. The service includes concept design, artistic direction, and economic analysis, providing effective solutions from an architectural perspective.
PROFILE
Silvia Mazzella is an Italian Architect, registered with the Order of Architects of Milan (no. 20498). She began her university studies at the University of Roma Tre and continued at the School of Architecture of Alghero (SS), following design courses under professors such as Luigi Snozzi and Gonçalo Byrne. She completed her master’s studies with a year at FAUL University in Lisbon, after which she developed her thesis in collaboration with architect Joseph Mias, focusing on the restoration of a symbolic building, the Panorâmico de Monsanto, through a comprehensive redevelopment project of approximately 2,000 sqm.
During her studies, she participated in seminars and workshops in Italy and abroad, engaging with diverse academic and professional contexts, while an internship in Barcelona provided early exposure to practical design work. After graduating and passing the State Exam at the Politecnico di Milano, she collaborated with architectural firms of different sizes in Milan, from larger offices to small ateliers, all focused on building restoration and residential and commercial renovations across northern and southern Italy, further developing her design perspective. Through these collaborations, she cultivated a particular sensitivity for interior architecture, and since 2019 has also pursued an independent practice, working on her own projects and with international clients, including remote interventions, engaging with varied contexts, and developing a thoughtful approach informed by site experience, dialogue with craftsmen, and attention to construction, while maintaining a strong curiosity and desire for creative freedom, exploring different styles and typologies.
Adapting to clients’ needs while seeking new inspiration, she alternates professional activity with travel and volunteer work abroad, integrating her experiences into projects with attention to reuse and restoration, prioritizing human-scale interventions. She values eclectic styles, Italian and Mediterranean traditions, Scandinavian minimalism, Asian and South American modernist architecture, as well as art and sculpture, elements that guide her exploration of form, light, color, materials, and spatial quality. Her goal is to create essential, elegant, and functional spaces that foster harmony and livability.
