How’d it be if..was conceived as an idea, a design hypothesis developed spontaneously, fully aware that it could never be realized. At the same time, it stems from a passion for optimizing small spaces, translating onto paper a meticulous attention to versatility, light, and order.

The original floor plan, with a single aspect, was reimagined by hypothetically introducing a second window to benefit the living area. The kitchen space is expanded, while the bathroom is reduced but optimized through components designed to make the most of every available centimeter. The imagined intervention includes numerous custom-made elements, executed with essential simplicity, so that every corner becomes functional and storage-oriented, with a certain geometric linearity serving as the guiding principle throughout the spaces.

The color palette is contemporary relative to the period of design and bold in approach, without overusing hues: pastel tones harmonize with light woods, gray granites, and touches of natural, earthy colors. Soft green recurs as a distinctive element of the project, while the arrangement of small objects and the variety of textures is carefully considered to create minimal, differentiated, and balanced effects, giving character and depth to each environment.
